Business Travelers Center
If you are a business traveler using Dayton International Airport (DAY), including and especially our VA, military and civilian Department of Defense travelers, we welcome you to the BTC as the guests of the city of Dayton, the city of Dayton’s Dayton International Airport and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The BTC is located inside security between the Boston Stoker Coffee Shop and the bookstore. The expanded BTC has an updated look and convenient access to food service. The new space will provide an updated, more convenient place for business travelers to conduct meetings, get work done or relax before or after a flight. We look forward to serving the region’s business community through this great airport service and amenity.
To order BTC member cards for your business, call the Chamber at 937-226-1444 and ask for Carla. Or click here to submit your request via e-mail.
Details regarding the BTC hours, amenities and contact information are available at Fly Dayton.
Learn More About the BTC
The idea of the Business Travelers Center (BTC) was conceived in 1997 as a partnership between the city of Dayton, DAY and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. In 1999 funds became available to set aside space to replace the closed respite lounges of the airlines and in early 2000, the partnership “took off” with outstanding success.
At that time, many airports were struggling to attract travelers and the idea of creating a more “business friendly” environment at DAY would help us bring in more business users from a wider geographic range. With competitive pricing from airlines, today the airport attracts travelers from the south as far as Cincinnati; east of Springfield; west of Richmond and north of Lima.

The BTC won a national award from the Chamber’s national organization and has had chambers from all over the country call or visit to see this unique service and partnership between our 3 entities. Every year we receive many great compliments on this service.
The core of the customers using the BTC come from the more than 2,800 area businesses and 200,000 employees that belong to the Chamber, including and especially those men and women serving and working at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The Center is open only to business travelers and their guests. That is one of the reasons it has received such good reviews these past 14 years from the business community. Airports must work hard to attract and retain the important business traveler. We have created a culture over the years at DAY of not only being “easy to and through” but one that is very business friendly.
