The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the launch of Project Accelerate, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at propelling economic growth and fostering innovation. This strategic endeavor, sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co., marks a significant milestone in the chamber’s ongoing commitment to drive business inclusion across all industries.
Project Accelerate, sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co., is a new national initiative designed to empower and assist diverse owned businesses, including, but not limited to, women, Black, Hispanic and Latino, Asian and Pacific Islander, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities, led by veteran, military and military spouses seeking to grow and scale their companies.
Dedicated to increasing equity and inclusion within the veteran and military community, Project Accelerate is seeking 50 qualified cohort participants to receive training and coaching to assist with expanding their businesses within the commercial and governmental sectors and connecting business owners with national supplier diversity partners to maximize contracting opportunities. Project Accelerate aims to create a training platform for businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators to thrive by providing them with training and coaching assist with expanding their businesses within the commercial and governmental sectors and connecting with national supplier diversity partners to learn how to maximize contracting opportunities.
“We are thrilled to unveil Project Accelerate as a transformative initiative that will provide strong training support and connections to support growth of established businesses,” said Belinda Matthews Stenson, vice president, Business Inclusion for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. “Through Project Accelerate, we aim to remove barriers and promote equity in the veteran and military community here in the Dayton region and across the country.”
