Stephanie Keinath, IOM
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
Stephanie Keinath is the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives with the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. Her focus areas include workforce & talent alignment, equity & inclusion and public policy & economic development. In this role, Stephanie also oversees strategic operation of the chamber’s programming, including several brands that function under the chamber umbrella. These programs include Leadership Dayton, the Leadership Dayton Alumni Association, EMPOWER, the Executive Women’s Council, the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council, the Dayton Area Logistics Association, Generation Dayton, and more.
As chief lobbyist for the chamber, Stephanie directs the organization’s advocacy efforts on public policy issues that impact the region’s business community.
In 2021, Keinath was selected as one of ten leaders from across the country to participate in the National Skills Coalition Racial Equity Learning Group, a year-long fellowship centered on racial equity in workforce policy.
In 2020, Stephanie was honored by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) as a national Forty Under 40 winner, recognizing her work as a top emerging leader in the chamber of commerce industry. Stephanie was also selected for the U.S Chamber’s Business Leads Elite Fellowship Program, focused on leadership in education and workforce policy and programming.
Stephanie serves on the U.S Chamber’s Education, Employment & Training committee and as co-chair of the Business Leaders United (BLU) Ohio Coalition. She is also a founding member of Ohio Business for Immigration Solutions (OBIS). Stephanie serves on the Montgomery County Educational Service Center Business Advisory Council (BAC) and as Chair of the BAC policy sub-committee.
Keinath received the Better Business Bureau’s Women in Business Networking “25 Women to Watch” Award in 2017 and was chosen as a Dayton Business Journal’s ‘Forty Under 40’ Award Winner in 2011.
Keinath is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Dayton and is actively involved in the community, serving on the Community Advisory Board for the Dayton Daily News, the Welcome Dayton Committee and the Board of Governors for The Contemporary Dayton. Stephanie also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Aviation Heritage Alliance as well as the Board of Directors for the Wright State University Alumni Association.
Stephanie holds a certificate in non-profit and community leadership from the University of Dayton and is a graduate of the 2017 CFLA program through Women Writing for (a) Change, Cincinnati. Stephanie earned her BA in International Studies from Wright State University and her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Dayton.
Stephanie and her husband Marcus reside in Washington Township.
