Sydney Ryan

Sydney Ryan is the Manager of Business Programming at the chamber, overseeing both the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council and the Dayton Area Logistics Association.

The Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council is a premier safety training and education program that has been in the region for more than 50 years. Under Sydney’s leadership, the council hosts monthly Safety Breakfasts discussing relevant workplace safety topics. This council also partners with the Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation (BWC) to offer a rebate program for members.

Sydney’s work leading the Dayton Area Logistics Association provides an opportunity for advocacy, networking, and support of the logistics and distribution companies in the Dayton region, as well as their suppliers and support services.

Sydney earned her BS in Early Childhood Education from The University of Dayton. She has a strong background in leadership, building community relationships, and administrative support. She joined the chamber in February 2022 after living in Denver and working in the Oil and Gas Industry for four years. Sydney is excited to return to the Dayton area and re-engage in the community.
