Amanda Byers, Director Talent & Policy, Named Women In Business (WiBN) Class of 2023 Women of Impact

(DAYTON, Ohio – November 3, 2022) – The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce (DACC) is proud to announce that Amanda Byers, Director Talent & Policy, has been named to the Women in Business Networking (WiBN) Class of 2023 Women of Impact.

This recognition is for women who are working to improve their communities, leading and developing others in their professional networks and advocating for all women. Byers certainly fits the bill.

“We’re so proud of Amanda’s recognition in our community,” said Chris Kershner, president & CEO of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. “Amanda is not only a valuable member of our team, she’s an asset to the entire Dayton region. She’s a cheerleader, supporter and role model.”

“I can’t imagine a more deserving candidate,” said Stephanie Keinath, vice president of strategic initiatives. “Amanda is well respected within the chamber team, and takes pride in supporting her colleagues, especially fellow women professionals.”

Serving in her current role, Byers oversees the chamber’s overall workforce attraction, development and retention strategies, safety programming, and economic development and workforce research. She maintains relationships with partner organizations in the areas of business & economic development, education and workplace safety oversight.

With an eye on business and economic growth, Byers and her team also manage the chamber’s Soin Award for Innovation Committee, the Research Advisory Council, the Winsupply Entrepreneurial Excellence Award selection committee and the selection committee for Business Leaders United (BLU) statewide workforce policy group.

“Through her work in economic development and more, Amanda is certainly making a positive impact on the Dayton region. She genuinely cares about our community and is passionate about her work,” said Keinath.

Byers returned to the Dayton Area Chamber after serving as the acting president & CEO of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce for 4 years. She’d previously worked as a program manager for DACC for 12 years.

The full WiBN Class of 2023 Women of Impact was announced November 1 during the 2022 WiBN Leadership Conference at Sinclair Conference Center.
