DAYTON, Ohio – A long time Dayton company is expanding under a new name and invites the community to celebrate its growth.
Dayton Frozen Solutions (DFS), formerly known as Terminal Cold Storage, has served the Dayton area for more than 75 years as a cold food storage facility. Under its new name and ownership, DFS will add a spinoff company, DFS Supply. This new business is already supplying goods from businesses such as Grainger, HD Products, Ferguson and more, but more growth is on the horizon.
DFS is owned by an investment group that includes Chad Diggs, CEO, William Lumpkin, CFO, and Dr. Michael Dulan. The group purchased Terminal Cold Storage in 2016 and soon after changed the business name and added four employees, growing the Dayton Frozen Solutions team to 21.
A ribbon cutting and open house will commemorate the company’s new name and expansion. Guests will be able to tour the DFS 120,000 square foot facility, which offers diverse storage options including dry storage and freezers kept at -10 degrees.
“We are proud to be a part of the Dayton community and are lucky to be located in a downtown that has turned the tide in its recent years,” said Chad Diggs, DFS CEO. “We commit to providing 5 star service to our customers. Our job as an investment group is to grow the company by expanding on our core storage business, continuing to develop our distribution services and maximizing DFS Supply.”
The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce will assist with the August 18 event, which is open to the public.
