DAYTON, Ohio – Veteran-owned Metallurgical Solutions Inc. is making a move from Middletown to Dayton and plans to celebrate the opening of its newly renovated, state-of-the-art laboratory with a ribbon cutting.
MSI is a modern metals testing laboratory that is called upon by Fortune 500 companies to make sure the materials used in their parts meet specifications. When components fail, MSI is also available to support efforts to determine the root cause of failure and mitigate future issues. The company is an ISO17025 accredited and GES400 certified test laboratory which runs extensive analysis to find any defects that may result from the production process and can provide companies with litigation support when a metallurgist is needed. MSI is now celebrating 20 years in business.
The company relocated from 2205 Woodside Blvd. in Middletown after purchasing and renovating a facility at 331 Helena St. in Dayton.
The new facility is 15,000 square feet and was chosen for two reasons:
1) It allowed the company to build its new, state-of-the-art material testing laboratory.
2) MSI wanted to be closer to businesses in Dayton and its employees’ homes.
The company employs engineers, technicians, and support staff, and believes the move will allow it to hire additional employees once more businesses learn of its relocation. While MSI is new to the Dayton area, it has regularly supported Dayton businesses in its years of operation.
“I’m excited about being closer to current customers in Dayton and look forward to developing relationships with other companies in the Dayton region,” said Brian Joyce, president, Metallurgical Solutions, Inc. “Our testing and failure analysis support and response time are unmatched in industry. And after 20 years and thousands of failure investigations completed, we are sought out for our expertise by companies around the country.”
Ribbon cutting guests will get a tour of the sophisticated facility and see examples of failures MSI has worked on in the past while also getting an opportunity to network.
