New skilled nursing facility reflects commitment to patient care in Dayton region

WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (April 11, 2018) – A company with roots in the Dayton region is preparing to open a brand new skilled nursing facility to better reflect the needs of its patients.

Representatives at Premier Health Care Management say Social Row Transitional Care will replace a previous facility that was too old and too small to match the same level of care provided to patients.

The new 98,000 square foot facility was designed with residents in mind – almost all the rooms are private and the building has a movie theater, beauty shop, soda shop, kitchen, gift shop and chapel. There will also be spaces meant to simulate the home environment – short-term residents can practice driving in and out of a garage, use the laundry room and kitchen—to make a smoother transition to home.

Premier Health Care Management, headquartered in Blue Ash, has deep roots in the Dayton region. The company opened its first facility in Dayton back in 1998.

“We’re extremely proud to open our newest, most modern facility in the Dayton marketplace,” said President Harold Sosna. “We will be able to care for our patients in a beautiful, new, second to none facility and couple that with the outstanding five-star rated patient care our company has come to be known for.”

In addition to amenities for residents, Premier is also committed to going green. The company is focusing on energy efficient products like solar panels to save energy and reduce waste. Once residents start to arrive, the 100-bed facility will add about 160 new jobs to the Dayton region.

An April 27th ribbon cutting will include tours of the amenities and patient rooms.
