Soin Award for Community Impact

Who should be nominated?

The Soin Award for Community Impact is designed to recognize a private sector organization that has significantly transformed community development through impactful investments, visionary leadership and a steadfast commitment to the region. Must be a chamber member.

With the generous support of chamber members, especially Soin LLC and the Rajesh K. Soin family, the Chamber’s Education and Public Improvement (EPI) Foundation presents the Soin Award for Community Impact at the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting each spring.

A selection committee made up of representatives of the region’s business and academic leaders, along with the EPI Foundation Board members, selects one recipient annually to receive:

A video produced about organization’s impact in the Dayton region to be released at the 2025 Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on March 10, 2025
Two (2) complimentary seats at the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on March 10, 2025
A financial gift of $10,000 to a local 501c3 community charity of the winning organization’s choice including a public check presentation to the charity
An article in the next issue of the chamber-produced FOCUS Magazine
