Dayton Area Chamber to launch online workforce tool

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce will announce the launch of a new workforce tool spurred by the demands of the region’s business community. The new website includes critical economic data, career forecasting information and regional tools to align the area’s workforce capabilities with business hiring needs.

The ‘Dayton Regional Workforce Portal’ is the result of a grant the chamber received from the Lumina Foundation, an independent, private Indianapolis-based foundation, committed to making opportunities for learning beyond high school available to all. The grant was awarded through the Association for Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). The chamber worked with several community partners on the project including Ohio Means Jobs, Dayton Metro Library, Learn to Earn Dayton, Applied Research Institute of Wright State University, Montgomery County’s Development Services and ACCE Education Attainment Division.
