Funded in part by American Express, Main Street America conducted an online survey in late March 2020 to assess the impact of COVID-19 on the approximately 300,000 small businesses across the nonprofit’s network. Main Street America is a grassroots network made up of small towns, mid-sized communities, and urban commercial districts that focuses on preservation-based economic development and community revitalization across the country.
